Founder & product lead · Calistack

I started Calistack after a handstand attempt in March 2025 ended on the floor in under a second. I had strength from push-ups and pull-ups, but no idea which prerequisites I had skipped. That experience became the product: a skill tree that shows the exact path from your current level to the skill you want.

I write about structured calisthenics progression, skill-tree design, and what our training data shows about how people actually learn handstands, muscle-ups, planches and levers. I am not a physician or a certified coach; the coaching content is reviewed by our calisthenics coaching lead, and injury-adjacent advice is kept conservative.

I build the app and the website, and I answer support email. If something in a guide is wrong or unclear, tell me and we will correct it.

What I write about

  • How to sequence calisthenics skills without skipping prerequisites.
  • What objective unlock benchmarks look like in practice.
  • Why random workouts and social-media clips stall progress.
  • How to prepare wrists, elbows and shoulders for leverage work.
